100 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a motorised transport grant was not awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Galway, given her disability; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17797/02]
The assessment of entitlement to and payment of the motorised transport grant in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, a copy of the Deputy's question has been forwarded to the chief executive officer, Western Health Board, with a request that she examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
