Ceist:

120 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will support a proposal made by the Irish Underwater Council for an upgrade of the recompression chamber at University Hospital Galway; if he will given an undertaking to provide funding for the proposal made by the Irish Underwater Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I accept the need to replace the recompression chamber at UCHG. The Western Health Board is appraising the options available to replace the chamber including suitable location and chamber type/size to meet its intended function. I also understand that following agreement on a preferred option a fully costed proposal will be forwarded by the Western Health Board to my Department.
