Ceist:253 Mr. Murphy asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism if all moneys owed to Kanturk and District Community Council, County Cork, from the sports capital programme will be paid in full. [18974/02]
Written Answers. - Sports Capital Programme.
The organisation in question was allocated a grant of €101,579 under the 2001 sports capital programme, which is administered by my Department, towards the development of fitness rooms and a changing area. To date €54,664 of this allocation has been paid to the organisation by my Department.
Further payments will be made by my Department upon receipt of further invoices or certificates of payment from the organisation relating to the grant-aided work. Under the terms and conditions of the programme 5% of the total grant allocation, in this case €5,079, is retained pending the receipt of certification of completion of the defects liability period of the project.
