I move:
That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approve the report by the Minister for Defence pursuant to section 4 of the Defence (Amendment) Act, 1993, which was laid before the Dáil on 23 October 2002, be referred to the Select Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights, in accordance with paragraph (1)(a)(iii) of the Orders of Reference of that committee, which, not later than 26 November 2002, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.”
