283 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will continue to provide special home school education to person (details supplied) in County Cork and increase the hours as requested by a further ten hours. [21378/02]
The child in question is currently in receipt of ten hours home tuition per week for the current school year. This provision is due to be reviewed at the end of the school year.
My Department's inspectorate is examining the request for an increase in the current level of provision.
