285 Mr. Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Education and Science the position with regard to the purchase of land for an extension to Nurney national school, County Kildare; the obstacles which exist to the completion of the acquisition of the site; and the timescale for the completion of the school extension. The Property Management Section of the Office of Public Works is acting on behalf of my Department in relation to site acquisitions generally and is currently exploring the possibility of acquiring a site extension for Nurney national school.

The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
