398 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of prosecutions there have been in total under the Public Order Act, 1994; and the numbers prosecuted under each category of offence as defined by the Act. [21246/02]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the number of offences under the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994, where proceedings commenced for the years 1995 to 2000 is as set out hereunder:
