The allocation of married quarters is a matter for the military authorities and is governed by Defence Force Regulations Q.6. There are no proposals under consideration at present to amend the regulations to allow married quarters to be allocated to personnel of the Permanent Defence Force who are not married. The matter will, however, be kept under review.
