I have not had any discussions on Ireland and the Commonwealth.
The Irish and British Governments co-operate closely and positively on a range of areas of mutual interest, both bilaterally and within the European Union. The two Governments continue to work closely in relation to Northern Ireland and the implementation of the Good Friday Agreement, to which we remain deeply committed.
Ireland also enjoys positive bilateral relations with members of the Commonwealth on an individual basis, including through our membership of the United Nations and other international organisations. We also have close co-operation with a number of members through the Government's official development assistance programme, Ireland Aid.
