I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Neville – the Minister's response to a submission received from the Children's Rights Alliance regarding action to be taken by the 29th Dáil to end child poverty; (2) Deputy Coveney – the need to provide grant aid assistance for tree planting in order to allay insecurity in the forestry industry; (3) Deputy Boyle – the need for the Minister to comment on local concern relating to the application of a public private partnership contract for the provision of new school facilities for Ballincollig community school, County Cork, which is impacting on the removal of existing facilities widely accessed and utilised by the local community; (4) Deputy Timmins – the need to update the national drinking water regulations in view of the uranium 238 find in the public supply at Baltinglass, County Wicklow; (5) Deputy Naughten – the Limerick-Sligo rail line at Athenry, County Galway; (6) Deputy Cecilia Keaveney – the cross-departmental action which is, or should be, taking place in light of recent surveys, particularly that of the Association for Health Promotion's alcohol paper, which further outline the significant ramifications that our drink culture is having; (7) Deputy Deenihan – the urgent need to appoint a permanent GP to fill the vacant GMS panel in Listowel, County Kerry, which has remained unfilled for over a year; (8) Deputy Stanton – the reason for the five year delay in sanctioning the building of a public swimming pool in Cobh, County Cork, and the Minister's future plans in this regard.
