212 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason there is a shortfall of funding to complete works on a sewerage scheme at Farranfore, County Kerry; and if it is usual that such a shortfall should occur. [24182/02]
The Farranfore sewerage scheme has been approved for funding in my Department's water services investment programme 2002 to 2004 under the rural towns and villages initiative. The pipe work associated with the scheme has been completed. A revised preliminary report for the treatment works is awaited by my Department from Kerry County Council.
