106 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if all information electronically stored in his Department is adequately protected against hackers; if there have been breaches in this security; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25278/02]

My Department's electronic information repositories are protected by a secure dual firewalling infrastructure implemented to deter hacking attempts. Security has not been breached through hacking at any time in so far as it is possible to ascertain.
