132 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will review the decision of the SEHB to withdraw payment of the mobility allowance to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; if payment will be restored in view of the financial and medical circumstances relative to the case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The assessment of entitlement to and payment of the mobility allowance in any case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer, South Eastern Health Board, to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
