117 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children when cat scan facilities for which major fund-raising was carried out in South Tipperary will be made available to persons attending St. Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26193/02]

The development of services at St. Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel is a matter, in the first instance, for the South-Eastern Health Board.

My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
