104 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the position concerning proposals by Gaelscoil an Mhuilinn, Mullingar, to erect a new school; when the construction of same will commence; when it will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26186/02]

Tenders for the provision of a new school building for Gaelscoil an Mhuilinn, Mullingar have been received in my Department.

My Department will communicate its decision to the school management authorities as soon as possible.
