129 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education and Science the extra resources he has provided to educational establishments to pay wages to which their employees are entitled under the terms of the Protection of Employees (Part-Time Work) Act, 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The 2003 education Estimates have been settled on the basis that all contractual commitments arising next year must be met within the 2003 provision. Allocations to individual institutions have yet to be determined. They will be advised that it will be necessary to meet all contractual commitments within the 2003 allocation provided.
