93 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people in receipt of nursing home subventions in each health board area; the total cost of such subventions in each health board area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3051/03]

The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collated in my Department. My Department has, therefore, asked the health boards and the Eastern Regional Health Authority to provide the information, which will be forwarded to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
