233 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Finance the reason County Waterford received only 0.25% of the total national development plan outlay for the State in 2002 (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3485/03]
I assume the figure to which the Deputy refers is based on the list of projects relating to Waterford currently on the NDP website and quoted in the details supplied by him. The information on the NDP website was prepared for the purposes of illustration and is accordingly not comprehensive and reflects only a sample of the NDP projects undertaken in Waterford in 2002. My Department does not have full details of spend in 2002 on all NDP projects in County Waterford. Such projects are the responsibility of individual Departments and implementing agencies and the Deputy may wish to put down a question to relevant Ministers in this regard.
