Ceist:

387 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children the level of funding being allocated by his Department to the Crisis Pregnancy Agency for 2003; if there has been a reduction in the budget allocation in the 2002 allocation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3555/03]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The allocation to the Crisis Pregnancy Agency for 2002 was €6.5 million. However, as the agency was not fully operational until mid 2002, only €2.5 million expenditure was incurred in that year. The allocation to the Crisis Pregnancy Agency for 2003 is €5.791 million.
