277 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education and Science the measures as outlined in the review of Estimates report which has been implemented by his Department to date; the measures he proposes to implement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4477/03]
The measures proposed in the report of the Independent Estimates Review Committee were framed in the context of producing expenditure targets for the 2003 pre-budget Estimates process. The Government subsequently agreed an overall allocation for my Department in the 2003 Abridged Estimates volume. The 2003 Revised Estimates volume, REV, will be published shortly and I plan to work within the overall allocation approved for my Department in the 2003 REV.
