Ceist:81 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Finance if the State's insurance indemnifies the public against loss or injury caused by third party equipment on Garda radio masts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5069/03]
Written Answers - Public Liability Insurance.
The only third party with equipment on Garda radio masts is O2, formerly Esat Digifone. It is a condition of the licence agreement under the terms of which 02 places equipment on Garda masts that O2 must effect and keep in force for the term of the agreement a policy of public liability insurance.
