Written Answers - Income Tax Revenue.
The budget day target for income tax receipts in 2003 is for an increase of 2.7% over the outturn for 2002. While Exchequer receipts from income tax for January 2003 are down by 10.4% compared with the same month last year, receipts in January are not necessarily a reliable indicator of a trend for the year as a whole.
