475 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will approve funding to Castlerea Community Arts Group under the conservation grant scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5582/03]
An application has been received by my Department under the EU co-financed conservation grant scheme of the Border, midlands and western regional operational programme from the Castlerea Community Arts Group in regard to the Holy Trinity Church, Church Hill, Castlerea, County Roscommon.
A conservation advisory panel established to assess funding applications under this scheme has assessed this and other applications. I will shortly be in a position to announce details of the grants being made available to successful applicants under this scheme.
