489 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs when the phase one projects recommended from the local drugs task forces will be mainstreamed in view of the fact that the period for mainstreaming is 2003-2006. [5622/03]
Some 129 projects contained in the first round of local drugs task force plans have been positively evaluated and mainstreamed through other Departments and agencies and they are now responsible for their continued funding. The evaluation of the remaining projects is currently being finalised by the national drugs strategy team. It is hoped to complete this process and submit recommendations on mainstreaming to the Cabinet Committee on Social Inclusion before the summer.
