435 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of civil servants who are on transfer lists to other sections of his Department outside Dublin; the locations and numbers involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7380/03]
There are 197 civil servants on the transfer list for the General Register Office in Roscommon. These comprise two assistant principal officers, 12 higher executive officers, 42 executive officers, 22 staff officers and 118 clerical officers and one services officer. This is the only office of the Department based outside Dublin. These officers will be offered a transfer should a vacancy arise in their particular grade.
