Ceist:

232 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of farmers who lodged sheep headage and cattle headage premia in Counties Roscommon and Longford in each of the past six years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7366/03]

The information requested by the Deputy follows. There is no application required for the slaughter premium scheme – payment is issued automatically to farmers in respect of eligible animals on the basis of information in the CMMS database.
