350 Mr. O'Connor asked the Minister for Health and Children if he is in discussions with the Eastern Regional Health Authority with regard to threatened cutbacks at Tallaght Hospital which are of huge concern to the local community; the actions which are proposed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is in ongoing discussion with the Eastern Regional Health Authority with regard to 2003 service levels across the Dublin academic teaching hospitals including the level of service to be provided to year end at the Adelaide and Meath Hospital, incorporating the National Children's Hospital at Tallaght. This process is ongoing and a further meeting will be held with the ERHA next week to review the position.
