160 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a resolution to the dispute in relation to the local offices of his Department around the country will be negotiated by him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13335/03]
I regret the inconvenience caused to the farming community due to the industrial action taken by the CPSU members and I am anxious to resolve the dispute. Department officials had contact with CPSU representatives in recent days. No formula for resolving the dispute has emerged. However further informal contacts are in progress.
