136 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if and when provision will be made for two prefabricated classrooms which Scoil Phádraig, Clane, County Kildare have applied for in recent times; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14146/03]
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that Scoil Phádraig in Clane has been included in the new pilot initiative, set out in section 13 of the updated school building programme published on my Department's website on Monday 19 May 2003. The new pilot initiative is aimed at reducing the amount of temporary school accommodation in primary schools and is being funded from the contingency sum for emergencies as set out in section 1 of the building programme.
