411 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when funding will be made available to South Tipperary County Council to proceed with developing a sewerage scheme at Killenaule, County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14544/03]
The upgrading of the Killenaule waste water treatment plant is an element of the south Tipperary grouped waste water treatment scheme, which has been approved for construction under my Department's water services investment programme 2002-2004. I approved South Tipperary County Council's tender recommendation for the scheme in December 2002 and the advancement of the scheme to construction stage is now a matter for the council.
