The total cost of these committees was €942,373.59. As part of its day-to-day operations, my Department would, from time to time, establish other committees and working groups whose costs are not accounted for separately within the Department's Vote. In addition to committees funded through the Department's Vote, the National Training Advisory Committee was established in 2001 to,inter alia, advise on funding priorities under the national training fund. The costs of this committee, amounting to €6,586.46, have been met directly from the national training fund.
