Ceist:

221 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs his views on the Brehon Law Society view that the Colombia three were not in Colombia during the times they were alleged to have been and that they could not possibly have conducted the acts they are accused of; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the trial of the three men in question is continuing it would be inappropriate for me to make any comment on the proceedings.

My Department will continue to follow the case closely, and to provide all possible consular assistance to the men.
