423 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the position with regard to a sewerage scheme (details supplied) in County Wexford; the timescale for the remainder of the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16420/03]
I understand that Wexford County Council proposes to service the area in question under the Enniscorthy main drainage scheme, phase 3. This scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2002-2004 to commence construction in 2004. My Department is currently awaiting the submission of the preliminary report for the scheme by the council.
