128 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 195 of 14 May 2003, the position regarding the application by a person (details supplied) in County Kildare for a resource teacher and resource teaching facilities; if a decision has been made on the case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19184/03]
An application for special educational needs (SEN) support has been received for the child in question. My Department is currently processing applications for SEN supports for the school year 2003/2004. The process involves an examination of each application and supporting documentation by the National Educational Psychological Service and schools will be informed of the outcome at the earliest possible date. An application in respect of the person referred to by the Deputy will be considered in this context.
