Written Answers. - Amnesty International Report.
The Amnesty International report 2003 documents the human rights situation in 151 countries and territories during 2002. The Government of Ireland strongly supports Amnesty International's work to promote and protect human rights worldwide. I have noted the country report on Ireland. The Amnesty International report raises a number of issues, many of which are more properly the concern of other Departments. I am sure that Amnesty has raised these issues directly with the appropriate Departments.
