179 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Health and Children the arrangements in place for people attending the Ferns inquiry; the role his Department has had in making or assisting in making such arrangements; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23561/03]

My Department has had no role in making arrangements for witnesses to attend before the inquiry into the handling of allegations of child sexual abuse in the diocese of Ferns. It has been in touch with my Department to make arrangements for expenses to be reimbursed to witnesses.
