181 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education and Science the vocational education committees which have not yet paid increases to part-time teachers under the terms of the protection of Employers (Part-time Work) Act 2001; if all teachers entitled to pay increases under the terms of this Act will receive them immediately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Following discussions with school management bodies and teacher unions, agreement has been reached in relation to rates of pay for part-time teachers. My Department has just issued a circular letter to vocational education committees on this matter.
