118 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the development of the former Coláiste Iosagán, Balllyvaurney, County Cork, and when it is expected that work will commence on the project. [24698/03]
The proposed development of Coláiste Iosagán, Ballyvourney, County Cork, to provide an all Irish education centre is listed in section 5 of the 2003 school building programme which is published on my Department's website at www.education.ie.
Tenders have been received for the proposed project but on the basis of the budgetary allocation it was not possible to include the proposed project in 2003.
Budgetary provisions in 2004 and subsequent years will determine the rate of progression to construction of projects that have been listed in section 5 of the 2003 school building programme.
