137 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if the consultants have yet been appointed to undertake the review of the inland fisheries sector announced by him on 21 August 2003; when it is expected to be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently assessing the tenders received from consultants to undertake a review of the inland fisheries sector in Ireland and I expect to announce a decision shortly on the consultants chosen to undertake this task. The review is to be completed in two stages over six months from commissioning. It is expected that stage one will be completed by the end of January 2004.
