Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Gogarty – the need to tighten planning legislation so that repeat offenders who consistently breach planning laws cannot receive planning permission for new developments; (2) Deputy Howlin – the need for urgent comprehensive remedial works to be carried out at Kilmore Central School, County Wexford; (3) Deputy Broughan – the urgent need to bring forward the Mercantile Marine (Amendment) Bill in view of allegations that the Irish flag is becoming a flag of convenience; (4) Deputy Moloney – the need to make community use of the former prison officer houses in Beladd Park, Portlaoise, County Laois; (5) Deputy Gormley – the need to introduce legislation following the recent Supreme Court decision to ensure that all women have the right to a home birth.

The matters raised by Deputies Howlin, Broughan and Gormley have been selected for discussion.
