157 Ms Burton asked the Minister for Finance the number of directors in receipt of directors emoluments, fees, salaries and other payments who have not been resident here for tax purposes for the period 1999 to date in 2003. [28353/03]
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the information from income tax returns is not recorded in such a way that would provide the information as requested by the Deputy on the number of directors in receipt of directors' emoluments, fees, salaries and other payments who have not been resident in Ireland for tax purposes. The information could not be obtained without conducting an extensive investigation of the Revenue Commissioners' records.
