229 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will review the nursing home subvention application of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare in respect of a subvention for their mother in view of compelling circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for the provision of health services in the Cork area rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
