312 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position on the long promised Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare; when it will become operational; the number of gardaí likely to be deployed there; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28407/03]
I refer the Deputy to my replies to Questions Nos. 1239 of 30 September and 238 of 13 November which set out the position with regard to the building of a station in Leixlip. The allocation of resources, including the deployment of manpower, is an operational matter for consideration by the Garda authorities. They will take full account of the policing requirements of the area.
