110 Mr. O'Dowd asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Government has plans to follow the Spanish example of publishing a new law which enables the assets from trafficking and other drug related crimes to be held in a public fund which feeds a variety of organisations working in the drugs field. I refer the Deputy to the replies which I gave to similar Parliamentary Question Nos. 577 and 578 of 4 November 2003 and also to the comprehensive Government position outlined in the debate on the Private Members' Bill on this subject introduced by the Deputy on 21 October 2003. The position remains unchanged.
