Vol. 576 No. 5

Written Answers. - Special Educational Needs.

Mary Upton

Ceist:

242 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an application for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 6W. [29694/03]

I wish to advise the Deputy that a letter has been issued to the parents of the person in question advising that my Department will not be making funding available for the person's attendance at an education facility in Great Britain. I am of the view that adequate educational provision is made for pupils with a hearing impairment in the State.
