Ceist:

344 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if the further information received in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare in respect of subvention for their mother will enable his Department to increase the subvention in question; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Callely):

The responsibility for the provision of health services in the Cork area rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has asked its chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him, as a matter of urgency.
