Ceist:

442 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the number of personnel employed by his Department; the breakdown by county and number of the locations of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30184/03]

The authorised number of posts within my Department is 254. There are the equivalent of 5.5 vacancies and the remaining 248.5 posts are distributed geographically as follows:

Dublin	187.6
County Galway	46.4
County Kerry	4.5
County Donegal	7
County Westmeath	1
County Meath	1
County Laois	1

The numbers for Dublin include eight staff in the Office of the Commissioners for Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland.
