175 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to Rice College, County Clare; the stage the application is at; when it is expected that it will be progressed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31481/03]
The proposed large-scale building project for Rice College, County Clare, was listed in section 6 of the 2003 school building programme which was published on my Department's website at www.education.ie. This proposed project is at stage 4-5 – pre-tender documents – of architectural planning. It was assigned a band 2 rating by my Department in accordance with the published criteria for prioritising large-scale projects.
I am publishing details of the 2004 school building programme on my Department's website today. The programme will clarify what progress is planned for projects, such as that proposed for Rice College, County Clare, during 2004. If, on perusing the programme the Deputy has further queries, I will be pleased to answer them at a later stage.
