275 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government if a person (details supplied) in County Donegal will receive compensation for the ewe scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31456/03]
According to details supplied to my Department, the person named had his quota restored to him under his commonage framework plan. He was notified by the Department of Agriculture and Food that he had no quota frozen and no eligible ewes to be destocked from the sheep production year 2003 onwards. The person accordingly does not qualify for a compensation payment from my Department.
