Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ó Fearghail — the need for the Department to prioritise funding for the provision of a new swimming pool for Athy, County Kildare; (2) Deputy O'Dowd — the need for the Minister to respond to the fact that BSE risk material may have unsuspectingly entered the national food chain through the pipes of a Drogheda company (details supplied); (3) Deputy Eamon Ryan — the need for the Minister to conduct a review of priorities for major transport projects in the greater Dublin area; (4) Deputy Ó Snodaigh — the need for the Minister to investigate and report on the situation of non-nationals detained in Cloverhill Prison while awaiting deportation; (5) Deputy Stanton — the need to upgrade Midleton CBS secondary school as a matter of urgency.

The matters raised by Deputies Ó Fearghail, Eamon Ryan, Ó Snodaigh and Stanton have been selected for discussion.
